ClassTogether vs Mentimeter: where they differ

Mentimeter adds polls and word clouds into a presentation. ClassTogether puts the presentation itself on the student's screen; the quiz and the survey open inside that lesson.

Which one suits you?

Mentimeter may suit you better

If word clouds, open-ended answers and scales are the heart of your session, you present a few times a month to small groups, or you build the presentation inside the tool anyway.

ClassTogether may suit you better

If you have a full deck of your own, your class is larger than fifty, you want the whole lesson on the students' screens as live slides, or you want the survey results in a spreadsheet without paying.

Switching from Mentimeter

  • Export your presentation as a PDF and upload it; every page becomes a slide, exactly as designed.
  • Rebuild your quiz questions in the editor. Rating, single-choice, yes/no and free-text questions go into the end-of-course survey template.
  • Your "Is that clear?" moments become the yes/no quick poll, which needs no slide at all; with the quiz and the survey it covers what a student response system does.
