How a quiz runs
You start it
Open the quiz you added to the lesson whenever you want. The class is already in the room, so there is no new code, no new link and no waiting lobby.
The question appears on every screen
The question text and the options show on the student's phone or on the laptop in front of them. Nobody has to read the board from the back row.
Ranking and podium
After each question the leaders show on the board; at the end the podium opens. Points add up across the course, and on the last day you announce the champion.
Scoring that is fair to everyone
A quiz is only fun when the conditions are equal. That is why ClassTogether measures the student's reaction, not their internet connection.
The clock starts when the question arrives
The moment the question reaches each device is recorded separately. A student who receives it late starts late, too.
Network lag is subtracted
The time the answer spends travelling does not count. The school's slow Wi-Fi leaves nobody behind.
Right first, fast second
A wrong answer scores nothing. Among correct answers the faster one scores more, scaled to the question's time limit.
A live quiz platform built for the classroom, not a party game
No player limit
A class of thirty or a hall of two hundred can play the same quiz. The free plan does not count players.
No student accounts
A student types the join code, enters a name and is ready. No e-mail, no password, no app, no app store.
Phone or laptop
The same page opens on the lab computer and on a phone. Any device with a browser will do.
One join code, the whole course
Students join once; live slides, quiz, polls and survey open on the same page. Even on a three-day course the code never changes.
Projector optional
Because the questions are already on the students' screens, you do not have to project them. If you want to, one browser tab on the classroom computer is enough.
Course leaderboard
Points from every quiz of the course add up. The day's and the course's leaders show on the board.
Frequently asked questions
How many students can play at once?
We have not set a limit. A class of thirty or a hall of a few hundred can play the same quiz. The free plan does not count players.
Do students need a new code for every quiz?
No. Students join once with the join code; the slides, the quiz, the polls and the survey all open on the same page. You never hand out a new PIN for a new quiz.
Is a student on a slow connection at a disadvantage?
No. Response time is measured from the moment the question reached that student's screen, and the time the answer spends on the network is subtracted. Points depend only on being right and on the student's own reaction time.
How do I write the questions?
In the teacher panel you enter the question, the options, the correct answer and the time limit, or upload a quiz file. The quiz sits inside your lesson and starts whenever you choose during the class.
Is it a live quiz app I have to install?
No. The live quiz platform runs in the browser: you start the quiz from your teacher panel, students answer on the page they joined with the code, and the projector shows the ranking from one browser tab. Nothing is installed anywhere.
